Delivery Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations. Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills. Achieves production goals. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals. Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair. Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements. Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. 
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 
Experience: 
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.  

Qualifications
  • Work Instruction Preparation

Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Develop work instructions, setup sheets, and process documentation 
Define cycle times and takt time
Standardize operations for consistent quality

  • Tooling & Equipment Planning

Identify and specify tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
Ensure availability and readiness of machines and equipment
Support tool design and development teams
Optimize tooling for productivity and repeatability

  • Quality Assurance Integration

Define inspection stages and quality checkpoints
Support control plan and PFMEA development
Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, IATF, etc.)
Work with QA to resolve defects and root causes

  •  Manufacturing Process Development

Design and develop efficient manufacturing processes
Define production methods, workflows, and layouts
Ensure processes meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
Translate product design into manufacturable solutions

  • Process Validation & Improvement

Conduct trial runs and pilot production
Validate processes using PPAP / FAI / capability studies
Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen)
Monitor and improve cycle time, yield, and OEE

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

Work with:

Skills Required
