Your Opportunity:
Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Assembly and Support to join our team.
Your Responsibilities:
• Perform various hand operations such as applying labels to products, cutting, wrapping products, using tape dispensers, and operating foot controls for repetitive motion
• Pack products in boxes and tape boxes appropriately for shipping while inspecting product for quality defects
• Stack, pack, and transport printed materials in various stages of completion on pallets as materials accumulate on delivery tables
• Read and follow job instructions to produce orders according to specifications
• Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and work constructively with coworkers and supervisors
• Float across departments and assist where needed
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and standards
• Duties may occasionally be performed while seated but are primarily performed while standing
Your Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00pm
You Must Have:
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand written job instructions, work orders, and safety regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees
• Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Requirements Within This Position:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constant operation of machinery and handling of printed materials
• Frequent movement throughout the facility
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer:
• High school diploma or equivalent
