Job Description In this role, we are looking for a Product Manager with a strong infrastructure (compute, network, storage) technology background. Someone with experience as a product manager: backlog prioritization, product road mapping, ability to communicate with Engineering teams and consumers of the product, and strong agile experience.
As a Product Manager, you will help drive the product vision for the Wholesale Compute product: develop and manage the product evolution, work with key internal and external stakeholders, conduct analysis of market trends, key usage metrics, and other analytical data to define a differentiated product vision that delivers unique value.
The Wholesale Compute product is an internal cloud platform for JPMorgan Chase. We provide pools of compute and storage leveraging a hyper-converged infrastructure. We work with internal platform products to provide large volumes of VMs in support of Business applications and workloads.

Role Expectations
As a Wholesale Compute product manager, you will be joining a team of Product, Delivery, and Agility Leads. As a member of this team, your role will include:• Creation and maintenance of the product roadmap• Prioritization and refinement of the Wholesale Compute product backlog• Partnership and collaboration with Engineering, Development and SRE functions to ensure the features delivered satisfy customer and project need• Sharing product features and roadmap availability with key stakeholders and consumers• Consultations with consumers in regard to requirements and use cases against our product offerings• Assisting consumers on how to integrate best practices regarding our products into their solutions• Creation and delivery of technical presentations regarding our product for our consumers, including senior management• Management of customer forums for technical inquiries from our client base• Documentation of technical solutions for our product on customer marketing materials such as client portals and customer presentations• Mapping of detailed technical requirements to key firm strategic business goals for both short- and long-term roadmaps
Skills required to be considered for this role:• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with focus on infrastructure technology products• Experience with agile practices and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Less, Safe)• Extensive knowledge of product management techniques (e.g. product road-mapping, feature matrix)• High degree of organization skills including the use of Confluence and JIRA for managing product documentation• Ability to facilitate technical discussions with diverse customer base
Preferred skills:• Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, MIS, Engineering• Up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies • Strong knowledge of product strategy development and lifecycle methodologies• Understanding of financial and accounting management, such as investment processes, business case development, cost and recovery models• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate concepts to senior management and customers• Leadership and/or management experience, ideally in a global organization• Proven experience of building strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology and other key stakeholders• Experience with new and emerging technologies such as cloud and virtualization
