Print Product Account Specialist

Summary:
Coordinate production of printed materials, or print related services for the company’s customers. Maintain positive customer relations through active engagement of the customer through all stages of the manufacturing process from initial contact through final disposition of the customers product.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the manufacturing facility to the Service Delivery Network.
- Receive, review and process manufacturing work orders as needed.
- Make suggestions to Service Center regarding workflow/process improvements to proposed jobs to maximize the benefits to both the customer and the company.
- Ensure job instructions are entered and into the various manufacturing systems following and verified through Control Document standards.
- Perform quality review for other Print Production Acct Specialists to ensure all information is accounted for and accurate before commencement of production.
- Engage Service Center to gather job requirements and translate customer requirements in to detailed manufacturing/kitting instructions based on manufacturing plan and equipment specifications.
- Translate and/or verify customer shipping/postal requirements for disposition of finished product.
- May confer with Service Centers to obtain additional information needed jobs in process and coordinate any changes.
- May review proofs with Service Center, obtain approval of materials, such as artwork, color separations, or ink samples.
- Ensure manufacturing plans satisfy all special requirements and customer expectations.
- Coordinate production of components internal print site or vendors as required.
- Review defect alerts and direct to the appropriate department or vendor. Engage appropriate departments/vendors and provide detail that will drive root cause. May help coordinate the resolution of customer or manufacturing issues. Communicate with Service Centers regarding the resolution of issues.
- May have responsibility for determining the supplies and paper needed for jobs including the use of vendors to supply component of the customer product.
- May monitor progress of jobs throughout production and report status.
Additional Responsibilities:

- May assist sales in the RFP process supplying estimates and determining how to efficiently process a complete job.
- May have responsibility for the composition and/or copy prep of the customers’ products.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:

- HS diploma or equivalent
- 5-6 years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing operations or office environment directly related to the duties of the job
