The Infrastructure as Code Product Manager in our Compute organization will play a key role in GTI delivering its mission statement as it will be responsible for working with our customers to deliver next generation hybrid cloud infrastructure products. As the firm has a major focus on the hybrid cloud, new product offerings must be delivered in a way to unify the consumption model to provided streamlined, automated experience for our customers to consume our hybrid cloud infrastructure. As this product will be the unified layer for our customers to consume our strategic IaaS & PaaS offerings, we are looking for persons to become members of our growing product management team. In this role, you will manage a first-class software product working with clients and product teams to develop a new hybrid cloud product consumption layer in addition to feature enhancements of the existing ones. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute product vision and strategy in partnership with your customers and stake holders based upon customer needs and industry trends.
  • Strong product management, analytical, detail oriented, problem solving, and communication skills to focus on customer first mindset, lean product thinking, and a focus on product adoption.
  • Create, publish, and manage product performance against KPI's and OKR's.
  • Create, manage and prioritize the key feature backlogs leveraging industry best practices for the product, including understanding how legal, compliance, regulatory, security, incidents and stability impact your priorities.
  • Product and feature delivery in an agile framework, iterating and delivering customer value as quickly as possible.
  • Deliver products and features based upon business requirements, pre-defined customer specs, often finding alternatives that meet them. Translating the requirements into writing user stories.
  • Create, publish, and present roadmaps of varying detail to a variety of audiences within the firm , including senior management.
  • Development of user journeys and customer personas, leveraging them to both to understand opportunities and/or developing new products and features.
  • Manage business aspects of the product: pricing strategies, vendor management, business cases, P&L management, budgeting, and asset management.
  • Interlock and build strong relationships with other product mangers/stakeholders/functional partners to collaborate on roadmaps, influence, and delivery of cross functional, highly visible products/features.
  • Resolve internal/external impediments to inhibit delivery of your product/features.
  • Creating and maintaining product marketing materials such as customer portals and/or product presentations.
  • Subject matter expert in technology domain/ability to become one.


This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • 5+ Prior work/background in product management dealing with products and customers.
  • BS in technical degree from accredited university (Science or Engineering preferred).
  • Possess a strategic mindset and exhibits a high degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills at both business and technical levels with the ability to tailor to different audiences.
  • Show tenacity and the ability to overcome obstacles and/or impediments that will inhibit product delivery.
  • Strong leadership & influence skills across functional areas and stakeholders (internal/external) to inspire and influence to deliver amazing products.
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in development of product KPI's & OKR's and managing product performance against them.
  • Experience using product analytics and data to manage product performance and drive decision making.
  • Well versed with agile and Scrum/Kanban product management methodologies.
  • Experience presenting to large and diverse customer base including senior leadership.
  • Experience with financial management - pricing, procurement, business case development, P&L management, budgeting, and asset management.
  • Experience delivering highly visible products and features teaming with peer product managers when there are cross dependencies.
  • Well versed in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with IAC (Terraform, Pulumi, Cloud Formation).
  • Experience with Public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Experience with VMWare/ESX is a plus.
  • Experience with containers (Docker, Podman) is a plus.
  • Experience working with vendor products is a plus.
  • Experience working with Red Hat Linux is a plus.
  • Experience with software architecture is a plus.
  • Experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development is a plus.
  • Experience with system and software security and entitlements such as SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD are a plus.
