About the Job:

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and interface of our product. You will work closely with the product and development team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups & intuitive design solutions. This role is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on the design direction of our product from the ground up.

You'll also be responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent visual design language and style guide for the product and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques to incorporate into your work.

What you will do:

• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes to test and iterate on designs
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and user flows to visualise the user experience and user interface
• Design icons, graphics, and other visual elements that enhance the user experience.
• Developing and maintaining a consistent visual design language and style guide for the product
• Select and implement colour schemes, typography, and layout principles to create a visually appealing interface.
• Working closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly
• Assist with user research to identify user needs and pain points
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, Information Technology or related field preferred
• 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design for SAAS web applications, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and demonstrating expertise in user interface design.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tool Figma.
• Passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experience preferred.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs required
• Have a deep understanding of creating design systems following popular UI libraries
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and web design guidelines.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education which indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
