Purpose:
The Product Support Specialist – Seeding is GreenMark’s leading expert on all new John Deere seeding technology. This role learns new technology first, masters it, and trains the rest of the organization to sell, service, and support it. The position blends technical expertise, training, and in-season support to help our dealership confidently adopt each new generation of planter and seeding solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the point person for new John Deere seeding technology and lead its adoption across the dealership.
  • Train sales, service, and parts on setup, diagnostics, value messaging, and best practices.
  • Develop internal guides, checklists, and training materials for emerging technology.
  • Provide moderate field support during planting season, including troubleshooting and customer interactions.
  • Support the call center with escalated technology issues.
  • Build strong communication channels to ensure consistent alignment across all stores.
  • After each ~2-year integration cycle, shift to the next generation of Deere seeding technology.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge of seeding equipment or field operations preferred.
  • Strong communication and teaching skills.
  • Problem-solving and diagnostic ability.
  • Customer-focused mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel moderately during planting season.
  • Associate’s degree (preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in agriculture, precision ag, or related technology (required)
