About This Opportunity:
Ericsson is looking for a Product Support Co-op to join our EUHW CX TS AMER team in Ottawa, Ontario. In this role, you will provide technical support to customers using our products, with a focus on ensuring smooth product integration into customer networks and resolving issues promptly. You will collaborate with Development teams, Systems & Technology, Product Line teams, and Customers, gaining broad exposure across engineering functions. Working alongside experienced engineers and developers, you will build your skills while contributing to continuous improvements. This is a 12 to 16-month Co-op term with 8-hour workdays (40 hours per week).

What You Will Do:
  • Set up products, conduct testing, and reproduce faults in Ericsson labs using baseband units, radios, user equipment, and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze customer issues following established processes (e.g., CSRs, Design Consultations, TRs), and liaise with design teams for issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to assess network impact by translating technical requirements and analyzing results.
  • Support and carry out deployment activities in lab, network, or customer environments.
  • Build technical knowledge through training, mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in products and processes to solve technical challenges and enhance customer value.
  • Connect with fellow Co-op students at the Ottawa office through the Ericsson E-Squad program and participate in Ericsson's bottom-up innovation initiatives.

The Skills You Bring:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in a relevant technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or related discipline).
  • Comfortable working in a lab environment for integration and testing activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive with strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and support colleagues.
  • Experience with programming or scripting, such as Python.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic, complex environment with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Flexibility to accommodate scheduling across different time zones when collaborating with global teams.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Microsoft Teams/Outlook, SQL, Power BI, or advanced statistics.

Eligibility requirements:
  • 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
  • Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
  • Be available to work 40 hours per week

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is:
Bachelors: $25.5/hr - $34.5/hr
Masters: $37/hr
