Main Purpose
As the strategic right hand to our Vice President of R&D, you’ll play a pivotal role in translating vision into action, streamlining execution, and amplifying the impact of our product, engineering, and design teams.
In this high-impact position, you’ll serve as an operational and strategic partner, guiding how the R&D organization prioritizes, aligns, and delivers. This role will be tasked with keeping focus on the departmental and company strategy — keeping it moving, ensuring clarity, and enabling cross-functional execution at scale.
- Temp to Perm - This will initially be a 6 month temporary contract role with a vision to convert to a Permanent position.
- This is an in-office role, five days per week with the option to work from home on Thursdays.
Responsibilities & Duties

- Translate high-level vision into clear and actionable priorities that drive alignment across teams
- Write and communicate crisply to both executive and working-level audiences
- Influence without authority to drive alignment and accelerate decisions across product, engineering, design, ops, and leadership
- Build trust across the organization and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics to foster collaboration and high-performance
- Rapidly switch between strategic planning and hands-on tactical support to remove blockers and push plans forward
- Exercise strong judgment in ambiguous situations with minimal guidance to ensure speed, clarity, and discretion
- Act as a force multiplier to product and business leaders and ensure ideas turn into results
- 6+ years of experience in product management, chief of staff roles, or equivalent strategic execution within high-growth technical environments
- 3+ years of experience in two-sided marketplaces
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
- Deeply organized and outcome-oriented
- Strong communicator with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Track record of cross-functional execution and driving strategic initiatives
- Obsessed with clarity, execution, and raising the bar
- Able to distill chaos into structure without losing speed
- High-level of analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong drive to investigate, analyze, and resolve simple and complex problems
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple priorities and meet conflicting deadlines with minimal direct supervision

- $120,000 - $150,000 salary per annum

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment or remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment to complete daily responsibilities and duties. If working in a remote office environment, a clean, designated workspace must be kept in a safe condition, free from hazards to both the employee and the equipment. Remote office positions also require reliable, high-speed internet.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full-Time Position. Hours are Monday - Friday, regular business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel, less than 25% of the time. Most travel is outside of the local area and will require overnight accommodations.
All travel is subject to the Indeed Flex travel policy and will be recompensed per the policy. It is the responsibility of the employee to understand and abide by the Indeed Flex Travel Policy in order to receive appropriate expense reimbursements.
