This Position reports to:
Global Product Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.
This role is contributing to the Smart Power business in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and setting market requirements for future development.
- Managing existing solutions used in the market, leveraging in monitoring sales target fulfillment and in taking appropriate actions.
- Defining future features and services.
- Boosting market penetration in line with the AT/AU’s ambitions.
Qualifications for the role
- Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred; Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent work experience also accepted.
- Previous experience in a similar field is a plus.
- Understanding of the global and local markets for Enclosure/Switchgear, with experience in sales, engineering, and operational projects is a plus.
- Strong and well-developed communication, influencing, analytical, problem-solving, and results-oriented skills.
- Teamwork, a penchant for innovation, attention to customers and stakeholders, and strong motivation are essential personal qualities.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and market trends, driven by curiosity and motivation.
