Overview
The Mexico Network Products team is looking for a Specialist, Product Development to support and grow the MSI (Meses Sin Intereses) installment payment program, working closely with issuers, acquirers, and merchants to drive program performance and adoption.
About the Role
The Specialist, Product Development will be the liaison between Mastercard, issuers, acquirers, and merchants to support the operational health, growth, and reporting of the MSI program. This includes preparing performance materials for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), onboarding merchants, monitoring program data, and supporting internal implementation projects. He/She will be responsible for delivering data-driven benchmarks and reports that inform strategic conversations with issuers and clients, and for ensuring agreements and product improvements are properly documented.
Role
Creation of slides/reports for review by issuers and acquirers for QBRs
On-site production testing and follow-up
Monitoring and follow-up for internal implementation projects
Merchant onboarding, including registering Mastercard as a supplier with each merchant
Creation and maintenance of program performance reports
Addressing technical questions from clients during the implementation phase
Documenting agreements within the MSI program and product improvements
Creating data-driven benchmarks for meetings with issuers and/or clients (top merchants, top payment terms by industry, surcharge analysis, seasonal performance of a promotion, program performance during a promotional period, etc.)
Actively monitoring MSI program data (identifying trends, confirming merchant performance, merchant approval rates, etc.)
Maintaining and managing the use of brands and logos with issuers and merchants
Experience
Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
Proven track record of data-driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test-and-learn methodologies across teams
Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff on issues, KPIs, and mitigation plans
Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing peers and supporting teams to resolve issues and improve operational processes
Strong customer-facing experience, comfortable engaging directly with issuers, acquirers, and merchants
Ability to create dashboards and interpret trends from data to support decision-making
