The [Product Specialist, Hematology, Dx] is responsible for [driving the marketing strategy and commercial success of the Hematology portfolio in Korea. The role partners closely with Sales, Clinical Application Specialists (CAS), Service, Commercial Excellence, and Regional Marketing to support business growth, customer retention, product positioning, and strategic marketing initiatives.].
This position reports to the <Dx. Marketing Manager> and is part of the <Marketing department> located in <Seoul in Korea> and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- develop and execute marketing strategies for the Hematology portfolio.
- Support product lifecycle management, including product launches and commercialization activities.
- Develop marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and customer education programs.
- Partner with Sales to provide product expertise and commercial support.
- Support customer seminars, scientific meetings, exhibitions, and marketing events.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and strategic customers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify business opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional and global marketing teams to implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor business performance and recommend actions to improve market share and revenue growth.
- Support forecast planning, pricing strategy, and portfolio management activities.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful execution of marketing and commercial priorities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Experience in the IVD or healthcare industry.
- Understanding of laboratory workflow and diagnostic products.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Application, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Clinical laboratory experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Experience in product marketing or product management.
- Hematology product knowledge.
