Key Responsibilities
- Review rates and terms and conditions in a timely manner to ensure product relevance and competitiveness.
- Monitor competitors’ fares, market intelligence and network opportunities and provide reports to enable Intermodal team to respond on time.
- Connect local market intelligence with pricing and distribution decisions.
- Identify and implement any potential yield improving opportunities.
- Ensure the pricing structure promotes up-selling and cross-selling behaviours.
- Proactively plan and design intermodal pricing for promotions as and when needed.
- Ensure Client Information Sheet are filled out properly and effectively to achieve speed in providing the accurate rates to Sales team.
- Ensure pricing strategies are discussed and agreed with stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, other Landside service involved) and that they are clearly defined, documented, and communicated.
- Conduct pricing proposals and negotiation as required.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve existing processes.
- Provide reports as requested by Intermodal Product Manager regarding Intermodal Product performance eg. Volume, Fixed Trucks Utilization, customer-related concerns, etc.
We are looking for
- Relevant years of experience in Transport background with strong data analytics background
- Bachelor’s Degree In logistics, supply chain, transport, business, or anything relevant
- Other dialect language would be a PLUS
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- AutoCAD would be a PLUS
- Dynamic team player, willing to go extra mile, and detailed oriented
