ThousandEyes is looking for a Product Solutions Architect to develop and communicate best practice technical solutions that address a broad range of customer challenges. The Product Solutions Architect will support successful go-to-market and adoption of ThousandEyes products by serving as a subject matter expert on ThousandEyes use cases and solutions and creating technical solutions materials that educate users and internal stakeholders on how to deploy and maximize the value of ThousandEyes products.
Your Impact
- Has technical ownership for a product or solution
- Influences product improvement plans
- Understands and articulates business challenges and opportunities for assigned product or solution
- Remains cognizant of industry changes, challenges and findings; integrates industry issues for customer benefit
- Provides recommendations for functionality improvements based on own/customer feedback
- Contributes to developing product architectural documentation for assigned products, in collaboration with product teams
- Engages in complex technical discussions with customers/partners to demonstrate new technologies and products pecifications
- May present value proposition of products to customers/partners and other internal and external stakeholders (e.g., CX partners, Field, Sales Enablement and/or Engineering teams)
- Researches information and analyzes findings (typically on multiple technologies on a single platform) to articulate competitive differentiation
- Creates output/findings reports (e.g., hardware product breakdowns) to communicate findings to peer/senior team members
- Guides the creation of field/customer-facing technical collateral (e.g., technical white papers, deployment guides,methodology documents) for new products and technology releases
Minimum Qualifications
- Networking domain expertise and experience
- 10+ years in a TME, SE, or other similar customer-facing role
- Extensive customer and field experience, ideally covering both enterprises and service providers
- Demonstrated success in building demos and creating technical content, such as best practice guides, and reference architectures
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or engineering
- Technical certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or other, demonstrating knowledge in areas such as networking, CloudOps, DevOps, and automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written skills and a willingness to present and defend your ideas
- Customer-focused self-starter with high levels of initiative, commitment, energy, and comfort working in dynamic environments alongside a distributed, worldwide team
- Knowledge of Python, or other programming languages, is a plus
