In the role, as Product Risk Leader, you will lead & implement preconditions and infrastructure for an efficient and effective risk management process to create a better everyday life for the many and safeguard the IKEA brand. Additionally, you will have the chance to develop & secure governance & ways of working towards all franchisees in product risk and compliance, as well as lead initiatives supporting the Risk & Compliance agenda and key movements.

In this assignment you will take active leadership in establishing and implement a product risk management framework. Proactively challenge & support all stakeholders across the value chain to identify product risks and turn them into improvements, innovations, and business opportunities. You will also take lead for product risk & compliance initiatives, such as expansion projects and proactive risk cases, from an end-to-end perspective and lead, develop & secure governance & ways of working towards all franchisees.
Together with our team develop and contribute to the Product Risk mgmt. direction, goals, and priorities, based on the Product Risk & Compliance function plans, strategies & budgets. Lead, promote and inspire the Product Risk & Compliance agenda within IKEA and together with colleagues be an ambassador for Risk & Compliance in different forums & trainings.
Strengthen the IKEA Culture by sharing & living the IKEA Values every day. With them as a guide lead business & people through empowering individuals and teams.
To shine in this role, we wish you to lead with a holistic view, always act with the Customer, total IKEA, and Product Risk & Compliance in mind. You use an entrepreneurial approach together with being analytical and structured, using facts, knowledge & insights. On top of this, you have great stakeholder management – strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to network and create trustful relationships in collaborative processes.
Additionally, you have ability to handle complex assignment and break it down to clear tasks. You also can operate and balance between strategic, tactical, and operational tasks. You like to deliver results by involving, leading, developing, and inspiring people in a remote as well as in an onsite environment
Furthermore, we want you have experience from risk management and also:
• Experience in product risk and compliance
• Strong knowledge in risk management
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the IKEA Value Chain, the development process and the prerequisites of the Supply and Retail organizations
• Project management skills
• University degree or equivalent knowledge acquired elsewhere
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
The position is placed in Älmhult, Sweden. You will report to Product Risk Manager Pernilla Degerman.
