Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end testing and validation for all infrastructure changes introduced via the change management process.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and change coordinators to assess the impact of proposed infrastructure changes.
- Define comprehensive test strategies and plans for change implementations across integrated systems and products.
Required Skills:
- Very good understanding of Change and Release Management frameworks and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing tools, and quality processes.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation tools to support test execution and validation.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and test scenario setup.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps, and version control systems like Git.
- Experience working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions quickly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams.
- Perform testing in production-replica environments as part of the change approval process, document observations, and prepare detailed infrastructure upgrade/migration checklists.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to go/no-go decisions by analyzing test results and evaluating potential change impacts.
- Help establish and enforce quality gates, rollback validation criteria, and post-deployment validation practices throughout the change management lifecycle.
- Maintain testing artifacts and ensure audit readiness by properly documenting testing evidence, procedures, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
- High school diploma.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
