So, what’s the got to do with being blue I hear you say. Well, the answer’s quite simple. It’s because you’ll be diving headfirst into our Blue Team. Makes sense now, huh?
Now, the Blue Team’s name might be new, but we’re old timer’s now. We’ve been working in this field for a fair while, so you can be confident you’ll be joining a supportive and knowledgeable team. Our Blue Team works into our Entitlement Services division which focuses on the delivery of providing first class and high-quality services to our local and central government partners. Our current Product Proposition Lead is moving onto pastures new, and with so much growth to be had in this area, we’re now on the lookout for a replacement. So, whilst you’ll have some pretty big shoes to fill, we’re sure you’ll be up for the challenge.

Sounds pretty exciting, right? Well, quite frankly, it is! And what’s even better is you’ll be working within a fantastic team, supporting each other to achieve success.
In this role, you’ll be reporting directly to the Entitlement Services Senior Operating Officer, who look safter the Blue Team to ensure our strategic plans stay aligned with the overall strategy of the Entitlement Services business unit, and the wider NEC organisation.
As Product Proposition Lead, you will:

Take the lead on the development of Entitlement Services’ new service offerings, meeting market needs through close liaison with the Entitlement Services Account Management Team and our customer community.

Be supported by other Blue Team, Account Management and Service Delivery colleagues to create and deploy new propositions.

Assist in the architecture of new services and project manage them into a live environment.

Enhance existing services through bolt on opportunities.
-
Work with Blue Team colleagues to streamline existing processes and maximise gross margin and revenue.

Remain on hand to support the delivery Service Manager until projects are in a solid and established live state.

Continue exploring further service opportunities during and following the implementation of projects.

Work with pilot customers and NEC’s Marketing Team to produce marketing collateral to showcase new services.

Work with Account Management colleagues to provide sales and proposal collateral to secure further business.

Take the lead on all Entitlement Services marketing communications. Working with the NEC Marketing Team and owning the marketing mid-term plan.

Head up internal staff communications. This is an important aspect of our commitment to colleague engagements, so it requires someone with a flair for creative writing.

Work closely with the Lead Programme Manager who will input analytical information.

Work closely with the Product Manager who will support with any PERFORM requirements.

Successfully network, build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as NEC colleagues, third parties, customers and other organisations.

Be a strong influencer with solid negation and communication skills.
-
Represent Entitlement Services at internal and external events such as sales meetings, conferences and seminars.
-
Assist in bid and proposal writing in line with the needs of the Entitlement Services business.

Work with the wider NEC Revenues and Benefits community to shape software and services wraparounds.

Produce high quality presentations and deliver these to internal and external audiences. Your presentation skills will need to be polished, and you’ll need the ability to deliver interactive and engaging content.

Undertake market analysis activities such as SWOT and competitor analyses to establish Entitlement Services’ strength and weakness and detect opportunities and threats within the internal and external environment.

Be able and willing to travel throughout the UK.
