What We Offer
You will be part of a global R&D environment focused on developing diamond tools and manufacturing processes. Working closely with colleagues in R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Purchasing, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of new products.
About the Role
As a Product & Process Development Engineer, you will focus on the development of diamond segments and related manufacturing processes. You will participate in the development of new products, establish manufacturing parameters, support prototype and pilot production, and coordinate the transfer of product and process data to manufacturing sites.
The role also involves evaluating new materials and metallurgical solutions, supporting product transfers between factories, and driving activities to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop diamond segments and related manufacturing processes.
Establish process parameters and quality requirements for new products.
Coordinate prototype manufacturing, pilot production, and validation activities.
Support industrialization and product transfers between factories.
Evaluate new product designs, raw materials, and metallurgical recipes.
Maintain technical data and support Manufacturing Engineering.
Drive activities to improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
Who You Are
You are comfortable working both theoretically and practically and can collaborate effectively to achieve results. You are solution-oriented and able to take ownership of tasks and navigate new challenges while collaborating with colleagues and meeting project objectives.
Qualifications
We see that you have:
A degree in Material Science or Engineering.
Interest and knowledge in metallurgy and material science.
Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
If you also have experience in powder metallurgy and related processes and have used CAD/SolidWorks, we see that as a plus
