We have more than 15 years of trailblazing success behind us, and our teams are spread across the globe, with bases in London, Boston, Brisbane, and Stockholm. We thrive on the philosophy of 'fail-fast-fail-early,' which drives us to find ingenious solutions to complex challenges.

Join us, and help shape the future of travel!

The Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly collaborative Product Owner to join our cross-functional Agile team. In this hands-on role, you will act as the critical bridge between Product Management, Engineering, and the Customer. You will translate strategic product vision into clear, actionable work for the scrum team.

You will own your solution space end-to-end: championing change, shaping technical and functional direction, and ensuring the team delivers high-quality outcomes that meaningfully solve customer problems. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication, technical curiosity, and the ability to guide teams toward well-defined, measurable product success.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the Product team, work closely with Product Management and Engineering to deeply understand the needs, drivers, technical considerations, and objectives behind product and architectural changes
  • Work throughout the development lifecycle with engineering and QA to ensure successful delivery of product objectives by creating clear, workable plans for the scrum teams
  • Breaking down Epics into actionable User Stories and Tasks
  • Supporting design and technical decision-making
  • Acting as the customer voice within the scrum, and engaging directly with customers when needed
  • Validating that deliverables meet acceptance criteria and deliver the intended value
  • Create clear, comprehensive product documentation including requirements, functional specs, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and sequence diagrams.
  • Participate in shaping release plans, prioritising initiatives, and contributing to high-level product architecture discussions.
  • Own the product backlog (Jira): guide prioritisation decisions, ensure clarity and readiness of stories, and organise work so that scrum teams can deliver efficiently and predictably.
  • Critically analyse existing product and architectural decisions, promoting continuous improvement and encouraging engineering excellence in both design and delivery.
  • Work within established Agile methodologies and contribute actively to their continuous refinement.
  • Partner with customer service and commercial teams to triage, assess, and prioritise customer-reported issues, ensuring timely, customer-centric resolution.

Required Competence and Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner within a SaaS based organisation
  • Experience with cloud deployment, automation technologies, and modern SaaS delivery environments.
  • Proven experience writing effective, technically sound product requirements for API-driven applications within an Agile development environment.
  • Experience within the travel industry would be a big benefit, specically with the UK rail industry
  • Familiarity with travel websites, e-commerce platforms, or transactional systems is a plus.
  • Experience in software development, software architecture, or a related technical role within a product-oriented company is a benefit.
  • Ability to confidently liaise between engineering teams and internal/external business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.
  • A strong drive to deliver robust, scalable, efficient software solutions.
  • A passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and continuously improving product quality.
  • A collaborative mindset, respecting diverse skills and perspectives while contributing positively to team culture.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, with an ability to remove ambiguity and bring structure to complex ideas.
  • Focus on productivity and efficiency, proactively identifying and resolving obstacles that could impact delivery.
  • Ownership mentality: accountable, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities, eagerness to take on challenges, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Commitment to innovation, self-awareness, and ongoing personal development.
