Summary Generated by Built In

Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

In Sales & Service Value Stream (VS), we work in accordance with the SAFe methodology because we believe it adds extra value to our stakeholders and to the receivers of our efforts. We strive to keep the end users and their daily work in mind. We are looking for someone who can smoothly move between the big business picture and the details of software development.

And this is why we are looking for YOU, our next Product Owner – CRM Opportunity To Order, to bring value and support in shaping VS Sales & Service success.

About the job

As a Product Owner, you will be bridging the gap between the product manager, business stakeholders, and the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive refinement of work items to meet customer requirements.

  • Maintain and prioritize development backlog and ensure deliveries according to commitments for development, rollouts, or support.

  • Stakeholder management and collaboration across value streams and the business.

  • PI planning participation: define stories, provide clarification, set team PI objectives together with the team and prepare for system demo.

  • Responsible for securing training and adoption of solution (together with product manager)

  • Optimize the team(s) performance, together with scrum master and line manager, by sharing best practices. Provide input to line manager on supplier performance/KPIs.

What you know.

You have a solid understanding of complex IT solutions and product management. You bring at least 5 years of experience from a Product Owner role and are fluent in Agile development methodologies. Knowledge in, and experience with, CRM in general, and MS D365 in particular, are appreciated but not a requirement. As part of a global organization, speaking and writing English is a prerequisite. Experience in project management and business analysis is also considered meritorious.

Who you are.

We believe you are a person who enjoy working at the border between IT and business, where you can “translate” business language to IT language and vice versa. You stand out with your ability to lead self and others in a challenging environment while maintaining a positive attitude. You possess a strong business acumen, analytical skills and customer centric mindset which provides you with the right skillset to solve complex challenges. We trust you are a true networker that can easily build and maintain fruitful relationships. In addition, you are a team player always ready to support when needed.

What’s in it for you?

If you’re looking for a company where you can grow and make an impact, this is the place for you. We offer a challenging position in an open, friendly and innovative environment where we help each other to develop and create value. You'll work alongside a talented team of professionals, collaborating to address complex challenges and drive innovation. Your work will have a true impact on a sustainable future and Alfa Laval’s future success.
