NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary’s team as a Product Owner. In this position, you will be responsible for implementation and operations of new core policy admin system serving our group business portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as product ambassador, owns the product vision and roadmap for NN Hungary
- Establish a strong and trusted relationship with main stakeholders, including another team in Spain
- In collaboration with the squad and other stakeholders creates and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term plans
- Manage dependencies with other initiatives / programs
- Formulate clear objectives and key results for the squad
- Manages risks and impediments, including tracking and escalation
- Ensures plans are always up-to-date based on the latest status of progress delivery
- Collects and prioritizes Backlog items which defines priorities of daily tasks of squad members
- Define sprint goals, sets the target for each iteration
- Understands and clarifies customer needs
- Defines, creates user stories
- Keeps the backlog clean and ensures the high quality of the Product Backlog
- Together with the squad refines and improves User Stories
- Oversee an allocated budget and resource allocation, ensuring effective utilization

What matters to us:
- At least 5-10 years of previous experience as a Program Manager/Product Owner
- A proven track record of outstanding execution, strong problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Deep knowledge of Insurance or Financial business applications and processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale initiatives and engage stakeholders
- A solid understanding of technology and its application within the business context
- General knowledge of architecture and integration patterns
- Knowledge of analytical skills and prioritization methodologies
- Fluency in English is a must
- Knowledge of agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban)
