The Product Owner plays a crucial role in enhancing business operations and optimizing the productivity of our team members. You will be responsible for integrating technical solutions that align with our business requirements, ensuring cost-efficiency and maintaining high-quality standards. The Product Owner will demonstrate strong leadership skills by taking ownership of projects and communicating effectively with the CTO leadership team and stakeholders, providing regular updates on risks and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis.
  • Manage technical scope of projects from inception to close. Define, develop, and manage implementation schedules. Highlighting risks and issues to Data and Integration Manager, CTO Leadership Team, and stakeholders
  • Improving the work value stream, removing tactical impediments, improving work process for more effective, consistent, and sustainable execution.
  • Understanding the components of the system, how functionality maps to them, and how the system is projected to evolve, so it can manage how it comes together to delivery capability on time with high integrity
  • Support complex data modelling, data lineage and data security in driving through specific “use cases” such as ESG insights and reporting and retirement strategy.
  • Develop more effective data storage, integration, and presentation capabilities to support fact-based decision making used to better manage the AAM organization.
  • Collaborate with the CDO function to strengthen this capability. Such as alignment on storage and availability or the “single version of the truth,” ingesting new types of data and automating data quality.
  • Execute delivery plans, providing guidance and input to strategic and technical planning for multiple IT projects
  • Role model and support embedding a culture of creating impact and continuous improvement.

Experience:

  • IT Leadership experience 
  • Experience of key applications; DataLake AAM, ADC / ACR-SQL / Okta, Markit, Informatica, BizTalk, Tableau / PowerBI, KnowledgeLake, Bloomberg Data License, Collibra
  • Ability to set direction and effectively execute multiple IT initiatives, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders
  • Proven track record of success in large scale IT organizations
  • Experienced in managing teams through complex projects
  • Experienced in mentoring and coaching people
  • Action oriented with an innovative approach to management to improve efficiency, service delivery and information management
  • Good sense of humor
