Your Role in Our Story:
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Product Owner with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of products that align with business goals. You will be responsible for setting priorities, managing the product roadmap, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-value product features.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders, understand user needs, define product requirements, and work closely with development teams to ensure that products are delivered on time and meet user expectations. Reporting to the Head of Product or PMO, your role is crucial in transforming business requirements into actionable tasks, while ensuring that the product aligns with overall company strategy. In essence, your role involves:
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet user and business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments (commercial, technical, operations) to align on objectives, timelines, and product goals.
- Prioritize features and work with teams to define clear, actionable backlogs for development.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Act as the main point of contact for product-related queries and provide guidance to the team on product direction and strategy.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, user training, and ensure successful product adoption across the organization.
- Launch new features and functionalities, track product performance, gather feedback, and implement improvements based on user insights.
- Ensure a user-centric approach to product design and development, promoting usability and customer satisfaction.
- Champion a data-driven approach to product decision-making, using metrics and KPIs to guide priorities and measure success.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any obstacles that may arise.
- Foster cross-team collaboration to ensure a smooth product development process and effective communication.
- Drive continuous improvements in the product’s performance and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Management role. Experience in trading or financial environment is a plus.
- Strong experience in defining product strategies, managing backlogs, and working with cross-functional teams.
- A solid understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate business needs into product requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and priorities.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of further establishing the role and taking the stakeholders on this journey.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering value through continuous improvement.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and working in an Agile development environment.
- A user-focused mindset with a passion for delivering products that solve real-world problems.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management and change management best practices.
- Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and improving both personal and team performance.
