Product Manager Foreign Exchange
As a global company Adyen works with merchants and platforms across various borders and currencies, which means foreign exchange (FX) is an important part of our service offering and we’re looking to strengthen our position in the coming years.
We're looking for a candidate who's passionate about financial products and technology, including innovation of new features and functionalities. After obtaining an European banking license in 2017, Adyen built its own bank. Adyen Bank is one of the core components to process payments and we are extending our services to our customers with banking products. As Adyen Bank operates on a global scale, FX is a critical component for the processing of payments as well as the offering of new banking products. You'll be joining the Bank team within our Platforms and Financial Services solution. The team is responsible for the financial products we offer to our customers, whether large partner platforms, medium sized local merchants, or major international enterprise businesses.
As Product Manager Foreign Exchange, you will be responsible for making our FX offering a success. This will mean ensuring that it is a viable business for Adyen and that our products meet our clients expectations and seamlessly fit into their systems. In this role you will have the opportunity to build your product management skills and solve critical problems for our customers.
What you will do
- Analyze market dynamics and competitor offerings
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive product improvements
- Ideation for building and positioning our FX offering competitively in the market
- Contribute to the product development lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross functional teams across Adyen to build the right product in the right way
- Help develop and maintain product documentation and training materials.
Who you are
- 3-5 years of working experience with product management and/or project management within a fintech or financial services environment
- Experience with data analytics is a plus
- Experience with Foreign Exchange or Multi Currency related products is a must have
- You are humble, curious and an extremely quick learner and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- You have the patience and the grit to get to the root of complex problems and devise ideas to solve them
- You are hands-on, have strong project management skills in which you take full ownership and control over your projects
- You are able to manage multiple projects at a time
- You have solid interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with both internal and external stakeholders from varying disciplines and cultures
- Your strong sense of initiative and self-motivation will add value to a fast-growing business.
