Summary

Our mission is to enhance the experience of our clients, agents, and partners by integrating innovative technology solutions into our business. We are seeking a Product Owner with a strong outcome-based methodology, who will own a critical part of our Digital partner value chain (Partner data and reporting). The ideal candidate will be dedicated to articulating and managing a roadmap that aligns technical solutions with outcome-based business problems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and have a deep understanding of the end-to-end Partner data and reporting solutions, including IVANS and our Uniform Daily Reports FTP. This will involve driving an outcome-based roadmap focused on achieving our business objectives.

  • Lead a culture focused on outcome-based discovery. This includes forming questions such as ‘how to improve Partner data reporting and accuracy by X%’ and using that as the guide to identify the behavior we want to drive and inform the results we expect.

  • Operate with a strong MVP (Minium Viable Product) mentality, pushing the team to apply critical thinking to the trade-offs between level of effort and outcome.

  • Prioritize and manage a backlog,

  • Build requirements to inform your engineering team partners what needs to be built. This includes user product requirements documentation, distilling user needs & product features into stories and manageable development work items.

  • Continually manage & groom product backlogs and participate in daily scrum ceremonies (standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives) as well as user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

  • A passion for technology and 3+ years of experience building software products for external customers, with an emphasis on data related products

  • Experience using an outcome-based product framework

  • Candidates with experience in property & casualty insurance data products such as IVANS will be prioritized

  • Knack for gleaning customer insights from quantitative and qualitative data and utilizing an OKR framework.

  • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal. Must be comfortable presenting to customers and internal audiences.

  • Strong technical understanding, and/or engineering experience preferred. Must establish credibility with engineers in an agile environment.

  • Ability to drive cross-functional teams to ship products/features on aggressive timelines.

  • Owner mentality: high accountability for your actions & results.

  • Experience operating in fintech/Insurtech or other regulated environments preferred.

  • Experience with system design, architecture, and leveraging 3rd party tooling preferred.

Salary: $110,000-$130,000

Please note that this position is hybrid and requires two (2) days in our Atlanta office (Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area) weekly.
