Job Description:

Role Summary

This job is responsible for driving digital product vision and strategy through leading a team to work with stakeholders to ensure the mandate of the product vision to support the bancassurance business.

Job Responsibilities

• Set ambitious and clear product vision and communicate vision effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the organization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure vision and products align within team strategy and requirements
• Work closely with Head of Product to establish each product’s business value, and support messaging, communication and customer outreach as necessary
• Prioritize and manage backlog items and maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
• Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into valuable outputs and outcomes.
• Create the user stories and acceptance criteria for the product. Determine end-to-end team output strategy from inception to production
• Facilitate release planning with stakeholders as well as weekly demos
• Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design
• Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that key stakeholders have what they need to be successful
• Be accountable for product-specific OKRs and communicate progress to stakeholders

Job Requirements

• University Graduate and above
• At least over 10 years of experience in Insurance industry or Financial Institute, candidate who have worked as Business, Functional and Digital SMEs or BSAs is preferred
• Certifications agile Product Owner preferred
• Sound knowledge of insurance products, channels, customer behaviors and technology
• Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams, large strategic/ complex programs in a position of authority is preferred
• Experience in Product Owner with primary focus on driving digital product
• Broad knowledge of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle, i.e. Scrum, Agile, waterfall
• Experience in DevOps and Agile Toolset (JIRA, Confluence) would be an asset
• Knowledge of business processes and change management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonnel skills
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with stakeholders
• Proficient in both spoken & written English and Chinese
