The Product Owner (PO) works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks. Along all the team members, is responsible for development of the squad purpose. The squad cooperates with the product Tribes to develop the frictionless. Knows the customers process accordance with local legislation and regulations. PO is in charge to set priorities, manage internal and external stakeholders, solve impediments, help squad members in their day-to-day activities. In addition, PO is accountable for manage and deliver internal reports, optimize performance, and support the bank strategy. Position requires excellent lead and communication skills, problem solving, and data driven approach, an orientation to detail and process, ability to work and maintain composure under tight deadlines.

This position also demands ability to work collaboratively in multi-functional teams and cross-teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with various stakeholders to understand business value, market context and customer problems.

  • Document requirements for upcoming product/process releases assuring those needs are met and communicate progress/status clearly.

  • Build, prioritize, monitor, and maintain the squad backlog, prioritizing stories for each sprint;

  • Speed up decision making for the squad by ensuring features/user stories start with the right data and analysis;

  • Apply agile knowledge to identify, escalate, and remove squad impediments.

  • Work closely with the team, to create new and improved features for process owned by the squad

  • Define and track product and process metrics/KPIs on entire e2e value chain

  • Take care of the asset allocated on the squad in terms of IT Risk and IT Security

  • Application development according to ING Bank standards.

  • Follow and support Business in gathering technical requirements.

  • Write high quality functional and technical documentation.

  • Design, write and perform Unit Tests and Functional Tests.

  • Work with Release team for code versioning management.

  • Follow and support team defect and bug identification and resolution during test phase.

  • Identify and resolve production issue.

Required skills:

  • 5+ years work experience in Product Management/Project Management within complex IT projects

  • Excellent data analysis skills

  • Strong knowledge of Italian and English

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors)

  • Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to define and handle product/process requirements & backlog

  • Knowledge of the tools, techniques and principles used in Lean-Agile development.

  • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content​

  • Strong risk awareness

  • Result oriented

  • Excellence in execution

  • Have excellnce knowledge in bug-fixing and code optimization;

  • Must be an excellent team player in a different culture;

  • Must display ability to learn in a short time and work a highly stimulating environment;

  • Good English knowledge (written and spoken)

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams, and bridging the gap between both

  • Excellent communication skills, pro-active and easy to approach attitude

Contract offer:

Working conditions: Permanent employment contract

Working hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Applicable Collective Labour Agreement: National Collective Labour Agreement for employees in the credit sector (NCLA)

Location: Milan

Annual base salary starting from: 57.000€

Variable remuneration: in line with the applicable remuneration policies (with a target based on the role, outcomes linked to the Group, Business line/function, and individual performance)
