What you are going to do
As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the transition of the business product portfolio from the old legacy system, BCIS, to the new target platform, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud. This is a complex task where time plays a crucial role. It's up to you to determine the direction and find a solution for the 'problem' of the current world, while also having the 'solution' in hand for the new world.
You are the Product Owner of two teams; the Conversion team consisting of both Business and IT capabilities, and the Salesforce team consisting of IT developers. You work closely with these teams to ensure a smooth transition and to ensure that no customer loss occurs during the process.
The challenge lies in the time factor. The business domain needs to move to the new platform as quickly as possible, but this must not come at the cost of customers. It is therefore up to you to manage the complex transition and guide the teams in translating from old to new.
As a Product Owner, you are the linchpin in this process and ensure that the project stays on schedule and that objectives are met. You have strong leadership skills and a good sense of project management. You are able to analyze complex situations and find solutions that benefit both the team and the customer.
In short, as a Product Owner, you are the key to the successful transition of the business product portfolio from the old legacy system to the new target platform, and you ensure that customers remain satisfied during the process.

Who you are
You are results-driven, motivated, take initiatives, and easily communicate and navigate through different teams and levels within the organization. You enjoy variety. Additionally, it is important that you possess and have:
- A relevant education at HBO level, at least five years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Project Manager, and strong leadership skills that motivate and inspire teams to deliver the best performance.
- A considerable ability to change and execute, which enables you to achieve good implementation of our most important improvement processes.
- Knowledge of how to translate long-term vision and strategic goals into concrete and achievable plans for your teams.
- The ability to move easily within different parts of the organization. The interface between Business and IT is a piece of cake for you.
- A considerable amount of positive energy and the ability to use various influencing styles to get people moving.
- You have excellent command of the Dutch language.
Who you will work with
You will become part of the IT & Transformation department. Within this department, you will collaborate with colleagues from both the business and intermediary business units, as well as several related overarching functions such as architecture and data. Your task is to connect these colleagues with each other to achieve the best possible result.
There is no relocation budget available for this role and we are looking for someone currently living in The Netherlands.
