We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Owner WorkSite Ecosystem (Field-to-Cloud) to lead the transition of our machine-to-machine and machine-to-cloud functionalities.
Historically managed by CTCT, you will help define and execute the strategy that empowers our members to take ownership of these critical capabilities.
By building a robust roadmap of implementations and deliveries, you will enable our members to double down on their connected workflow offerings, securing our market leadership at the site level.
Reporting to the Group Product Manager (Operators & Site), you will lead cross-functional product teams across Christchurch (NZ) and Chennai (India), while also providing strategic oversight for SOW (Statement of Work) teams within the WECO domain.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Roadmap Execution: Partner with Product Managers to break down high-level roadmap items into actionable quarterly plans, aligning technical capabilities with site-level market leadership.
- Product Discovery & Lifecycle Management: Lead feature discovery, definition, and analysis. Translate complex technical requirements into clear, high-quality user stories and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Sprint & Team Leadership: Work closely with engineering teams to plan and deliver sprint outcomes. Act as a mentor, coaching other team members to uplift agile capabilities.
- Global Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for executing wider organizational priorities and leadership decisions across global teams, specifically bridging alignment between Chennai and WECO partners.
- IoT & Cloud Connectivity: Deep understanding of Field-to-Cloud ecosystems, including Machine-to-Machine and Machine-to-Cloud functionalities.
- Connected Workflows: Experience defining and scaling workflows that connect physical site operations with cloud-based platforms.
- Vendor & SOW Management: Proven ability to provide oversight and governance for Statement of Work (SOW) delivery teams.
- Product Ownership: Strong track record in product discovery, feature definition, backlog refinement, and writing crisp user stories.
- Agile Delivery: Good knowledge of Scrum/Agile frameworks, with a focus on value-driven sprint planning and predictable delivery.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Ability to leverage data and technical insights to prioritize effectively and conduct thorough UAT.
- Global Team Leadership: Experience working with and leading distributed, multicultural teams across different time zones (e.g., US, NZ, India).
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills to translate leadership decisions into execution and manage expectations across various organizational domains.
