As the Product Owner for Vena within the Finance ICT team, you will play a pivotal role in the technical management and support of our Vena software, a key tool for automating high-quality data collection. This position is integral to ensuring our finance department operates efficiently amidst new legislative requirements, particularly the Pillar Two legislation. You will collaborate closely with BISS and the software supplier to oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of Vena, supporting a growing user base expected to reach approximately 150 by 2025.Your responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team and business stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate the product vision, goals, and roadmap to the development team and business stakeholders.
  • Translate the business needs into clear and concise requirements criteria for further improvements of the applications. You will be able to challenge the business stakeholders to come to the best solution.
  • Review and validate the delivered features and provide feedback to make sure these features are accepted and used by business users.
  • Organize training and support to end users.
  • Ensure the quality, usability and reliability of the Vena software
  • Manage the product release cycle and coordinate the user acceptance testing, validation and deployment.
  • Manage the dependencies and integrations with other applications and systems in the finance domain.
  • Analyze and evaluate the performance, feedback, and user satisfaction of the software products and identify areas for improvement.
  • Research and keep up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the software industry.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or master degree in computer science, finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a product owner, project manager, business analyst, or similar role in finance or IT.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proactive, result-oriented and customer-focused.
  • You have a good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Passion for creating software products that deliver value and delight to the users.
