As Product Owner at Micron Technology, Inc., you will report to the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. The team defines, drives and delivers end to end smart manufacturing solution, integrated across functions of the business. The team will apply industry-leading best methodologies in automation, AI and machine learning to enhance Micron's product development, business and administrative processes across the company.
Responsibilities and Tasks
You will work with a team of Data Scientist and Data Engineers, making an important contribution to the design, analysis, and implementation of data science solutions and business improvement ideas. You will also work closely with key partnering organizations to ensure positive impact and sustainable results. In this role you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers & Data Scientists to deliver projects that require the coordination and support of resources from global teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders including Engineering team, Procurement team, Central Cost Team, Site Cost teams and Program Management team to identify and implement end-to-end AI-based solution for identification of cost opportunities and value capture
  • Quantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of solutions to the business
  • Identify new use-cases and best practices across strategic and operational procurement processes
  • Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation
  • Ability to think critically and break down complex data/processes to identify key levers and applicable solutions

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in cost management, value engineering, or cost transformation initiatives within semiconductor operations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, systems, and operational excellence methodologies, preferably within Front-End fabrication environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or data-driven technologies to improve business performance, operational efficiency, or decision quality.

Skills Required
