Your North Star
We’re looking for an AI-first Product Owner with strong payments and finance domain knowledge and an obsession with execution.
This role sits at the intersection of payments, financial operations, automation, and AI-powered product experiences. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data, Operations, and Commercial teams to build smarter financial workflows that scale globally.
You are not a “PowerPoint Product Manager.” You ship. You simplify. You solve operational pain points. You turn complexity into intuitive product experiences. You understand that modern product teams move with speed, ownership, and AI-assisted execution.
Day in the life of the Product Owner: Payments & Finance (AI-First)
- Own the roadmap and execution for RoomRaccoon Payments and finance-related product initiatives
- Build scalable payment and financial workflows that reduce friction for hoteliers and internal teams
- Identify opportunities where AI and automation improve reconciliation, reporting, fraud prevention, invoicing, payouts, and operational efficiency
- Work closely with Engineering, Finance, Customer Success, Support, and Commercial teams to turn operational pain points into product solutions
- Prioritize based on customer impact, revenue potential, operational efficiency, and speed to value
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
- Lead initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration
- Use data, customer feedback, and business insights to improve product performance continuously
- Stay ahead of trends in fintech, embedded finance, AI tooling, workflow automation, and hospitality technology
- Help shape what AI-first product ownership looks like inside RoomRaccoon

Core experience:
- Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in fintech, payments, accounting, ERP, SaaS, or finance-related environments
- Strong understanding of payment flows, reconciliation, invoicing, financial operations, and integrations
- Proven ability to execute quickly in fast-moving product environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong communication and prioritization skills
- Comfortable balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and commercial impact
- Strong understanding of agile product development
AI-First Mindset:
- Strong interest in AI-powered product development and operational automation
- Able to identify practical AI use cases that create measurable business value
- Familiarity with AI tooling, copilots, workflow automation, LLMs, or intelligent process optimisation
