Are you a skilled Product Owner who is passionate about making impactful change and guiding a team towards future ready technology? NN is looking for a product owner of the Mijn.NN platform team with the main task to migrate away from old technology and move towards a new and future ready tech stack.
What you are going to do
You’ll be responsible for the Mijn.NN platform team which enables many other teams in providing (self-)services features, like webportals and the NN App. For the next three years this team will be focusing on life cycle management and migrations towards a future ready architecture in the cloud involving technologies like NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS. Your key responsibilities include:
- Setting up and steering towards team objectives and key results
- Building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Product backlog management
- Supporting the team with business analysis

Who you are
- A background in engineering or product management of >5 years
- Guide your team and take charge in line with shared values and strategy
- You own the product, take responsibility and demonstrate a finisher attitude towards tasks and responsibilities
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Find your way and build a solid network of relationships within a complex organization in order to proactively manage expectations and dependencies
- Recognize the impact of your decisions on other parts of the organization
There is no relocation budget available for this role and we are looking for someone currently living in The Netherlands.
Who you will work with
You are going to lead a scrum team consisting of skillful backend engineers with different backgrounds and cultures and will be reporting to the Product Manager Self-Service in the retail domain. As a PO, you'll also be part of the retail core team with which you’ll align your activities and challenge each other to get the most out of you. You'll have the chance to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures in the larger Retail and IT community, fellow guild members and enjoy the diverse international culture we support.
