About The Role: As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the development of our products, ensuring they meet market demands and strategic business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth. The Integrations Product Owner is instrumental in defining and delivering integrations to third party solutions needed to drive market adoption of our PSA solution. 

Purpose Statement: The purpose of a Product Owner is to act as the advocate for the customer and the voice of the business, ensuring that the product being developed aligns with the company's strategic goals and delivers exceptional value to its users. 

Responsibilities 

  • Product Vision: Develop a clear and compelling product vision that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market demands. 
  • Backlog Management: Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it contains well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria. 
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed product requirements, ensuring that they are consistent with the product vision. 
  • Release Planning: Work with development teams to plan and prioritize product releases, including defining scope, timelines, and feature sets. 
  • User Experience: Champion user-centric design principles and ensure that the product provides an excellent user experience. 
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, facilitating communication, and ensuring a shared understanding of product goals and priorities. 
  • Quality Assurance: Define and communicate product requirements to the QA team and participate in the testing process to ensure the product meets quality standards. 
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, customer feedback, and competition to make data-driven decisions and adapt the product strategy as needed. 
  • Product Launch: Coordinate product launches and marketing strategies to maximize product visibility and success. 
  • Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms for collecting and analyzing feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the product 
  • Facilitate training and role play meetings 
  • Subject matter expert for product area 

Requirements 

  • 2+ years working in product management within a Software as a Service (SaaS) distribution model.
  • 2+ Years working with a PSA solution in a product, engineering or service capacity 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field 
  • Experience in agile software development methodology 
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle 
  • Proven track record of taking ideas from concept to launching and iterating thereafter 
  • Understands how to use the various techniques to conduct product discovery 
  • Ability to communicate clearly via written and verbal methods. 
  • Worked in and thrives in fast paced small business / startup environments 
  • Relevant industry certification such as CSPO or SAFe POPM
