Your North Star
As a Product Owner at RoomRaccoon, your goal is to ensure the smooth and fast delivery of product updates that directly solve customer pain points. You will be the operational engine behind our product delivery, keeping the issue board clean, pushing tickets through lanes, and working across teams to get blockers removed, always with the customer top of mind.∂
A Day in the Life of the Product Owner
- Own and manage the day-to-day product board, ensuring tickets are up-to-date, progressing, and aligned
- Actively follow up with engineering and QA to move issues along and avoid stagnation
- Keep customer needs front and centre when triaging issues and defining priorities
- Translate hotelier pain points into clear, actionable tickets
- Support the CPO in refining backlog items and maintaining clean sprint cadences
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders, ensuring delivery timelines and blockers are transparent
- Help improve internal delivery rituals to ensure we ship faster and more reliably
Key skills
- 4+ years in product ownership, preferably in B2B SaaS
- Strong experience working with issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira, Linear)
- Background in hospitality, hotel tech, or travel
- Experience in fast-paced scale-up or startup environments
- Excellent organisational and follow-through skills — nothing gets “stuck” on your watch
- Strong customer empathy, especially for hospitality teams and hotel workflows
- Basic understanding of QA and dev workflows
