Job summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Owner to join our STAFR team. STAFR is a Thales Corporate Engineering (TCE) project targeting to cover Workload and Workforce planning, a standard and key feature of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes which in this moment are defined and deployed across several Thales entities.
Main responsibilities:
- Identify and map stakeholders, understand their needs, and proactively manage their expectations, potential risks and issues, implementing appropriate and effective solutions
- Discuss new functionality and its (possible) business value with stakeholders
- Translate user needs into clear and actionable user stories for the development team.
- Prioritize the product backlog based on value, ensuring the delivery of essential features.
- Plan the Releases.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure engagement and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle, to secure budget needed to meet both corporate needs and engineering needs and to ensure product vision always align with Thales Corporate Engineering strategy
- Develop a stakeholder expectation management and a user adoption strategy through effective communication, collaboration, and coordination.
- Facilitate scoping sessions and actively participate in scrum events (demos, retrospective, and backlog refinement sessions).
- Regularly communicate product status and release progress to stakeholders.
- Experience in developing complex features, charts, KPIs, indicators etc
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills at all levels, including executive management.
- Strategic thinking to identify trends, hidden needs, align product vision with company’s strategy and handle product development and deployment in a domain where change and transformation is needed: proof of concepts, pilots, MVP, adoption curve, etc.
- Facilitation skills to align and engage a stakeholder remotely (worldwide)
- Data-driven approach, utilizing metrics such as acquisition & activation metrics, Net Promoter Score, User Experience Questionnaire, burndown charts, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Fluent in English, French recommended.
