Your challenge
As Product Owner for Compliance, you will shape and drive the digital evolution of our Compliance capabilities across the bank.
You will act as the bridge between Compliance, technology and senior stakeholders, translating regulatory and business needs into clear priorities, valuable products and sustainable technology solutions.
You will own the product vision, roadmap and backlog, balancing regulatory requirements, business value, risk, dependencies and available capacity. Working closely with business experts, engineers, architects and other Product Owners, you will turn complex challenges into pragmatic solutions and ensure that technology delivers tangible value.
You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment within a fast-growing, internationally operating private bank, contributing to a global technology platform serving our business across Europe, APAC and other key markets, while exploring how new technologies can create real business value.
What you will do
- Own and develop the product vision, roadmap and backlog for your Compliance domain
- Translate regulatory, business and operational needs into clear requirements and outcomes
- Prioritise initiatives based on business value, regulatory requirements, risk, dependencies and capacity
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into effective solutions
- Represent the product and its priorities towards business stakeholders, technology teams and senior management
- Challenge requirements and solution proposals, focusing on solving the right problem
- Ensure transparency on priorities, progress, dependencies, risks and decisions
- Coordinate with other Product Owners and technology teams across domains
- Identify opportunities to apply AI-based technologies to real-world business problems
- Continuously improve products and capabilities based on user needs, regulatory developments and technology opportunities
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst or comparable role in financial services
- Strong understanding of Compliance, Risk or regulatory processes in banking
- Experience working closely with technology teams and translating business needs into digital solutions
- Strong prioritisation and decision-making skills, with the ability to make transparent trade-offs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders constructively
- Curiosity and a practical understanding of how AI and emerging technologies can be applied to real-world problems
- Ability to navigate complex processes, systems and dependencies
- A pragmatic, collaborative and outcome-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills in English; German is an advantage
