About the role: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Product Owner (m/f/d) to lead the development and growth of our chatbot and digital interaction products. In this role, you will take full ownership of the product lifecycle, from concept to continuous improvement, ensuring delivery of meaningful value to our users. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, UX, and business teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive measurable impact.

Job Description

About your tasks:

  • Own your product: Take full ownership of your product’s lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and optimization. Continuously enhance customer experience and drive measurable results.
  • Be entrepreneurial: Create and articulate a clear product vision. Back your initiatives with data-driven business cases and champion them across teams.
  • Lead and inspire: Define clear product goals and craft actionable strategies. Foster collaboration with your cross-functional team and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
  • Focus on the customer: Use a hypothesis-driven approach to deliver meaningful customer value. Partner with UX, Research, and Engineering to identify use cases, experiment, and validate ideas.
  • Navigate complexity: Contribute to a global product portfolio. Align and collaborate with portfolio management, other Product Owners, and teams to drive synergies and consistency.
  • End-to-End product management: Manage the complete product lifecycle, from market analysis and concept development to go-live, performance reviews, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Focus on growth: Manage the growth of the chatbots and define the full growth cycle.

Qualifications

About you:

  • Prior experience leading the development of conversational AI or chatbot products, ideally with hands-on involvement in delivery.
  • Deep understanding of Chatbot platforms and frameworks (e.g., Rasa, large language models, RAG architectures).
  • Experience in leveraging conversational data to identify opportunities for improvement, user insights, and new product ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical feasibility with business priorities and customer value.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management—able to communicate and align with teams across functions, seniority levels, and technical fluency.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, especially when translating complex AI concepts into clear business benefits.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), and performance measurement.
  • Experience working in global, fast-paced, or matrixed organizations is a plus.

Remote work policy:

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again, or if you work from home all the time. At the same time, we value relationship between all members of the area and therefore we have regular team and area anchor days on which every team member is asked to come to the office.
