As a Product Owner/Business Analyst in the Digital Experience and Solutions group, you will play a central role in shaping product direction and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. You will lead the definition of product requirements, manage and prioritize the Product Backlog, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high‑value features. You will serve as the focal point for product strategy, user story development, backlog prioritization, and delivering products that meet customer needs and support company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition and ongoing refinement of product requirements
- Develop and maintain a well‑prioritized product backlog aligned with customer and business priorities
- Translate product vision and strategy into actionable user stories and minimum viable product definitions
- Apply business analysis techniques such as process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify opportunities and define solutions
- Collaborate closely with the development team to clarify requirements and ensure a shared understanding of deliverables
- Sequence and prioritize backlog items to support strategic initiatives and business objectives
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to gather input, manage expectations, and maintain transparency
- Guide the team to focus on the highest‑value work to maximize product impact
- Participate in planning, grooming, and review sessions to ensure work items are well defined and ready for development
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- At least two years of experience in the utility industry
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize a complex product backlog
- Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment
- Collaborative mindset with a customer‑first approach to product development
- Knowledge of business systems such as Customer Care and Billing
Preferred
- At least two years of experience working on Agile teams
- Technical understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and related tools
- Knowledge of business systems such as IVR, GAMI, Click, and Asset Repository
