Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Development & Management
  • Assist in defining product strategy, roadmap, and delivery plans.
  • Draft detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), business cases, and user stories.
  • Work closely with technology and design teams to develop new features and improvements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), pilots, and phased rollouts.
  • Monitor the full product lifecycle from ideation to retirement.
2. Research & Analysis
  • Conduct ongoing market, competitor, and trend analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Gather and interpret customer and agent feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics (transactions, ARPU, churn, revenues).
3. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: technology, finance, operations, compliance, and marketing.
  • Act as a liaison between product, commercial, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior management.
4. Compliance & Risk Management
  •  Ensure products comply with regulatory guidelines, risk policies, and industry standards.
  • Work with the compliance team to assess new product risks and implement mitigations.
5. Product Training & Support
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions for internal staff, agents, and partners.
  • Provide ongoing support for field teams and customer service regarding product issues.
  • Draft FAQs, user guides, and internal knowledge base materials.
6. Marketing & Growth Support
  • Support marketing in developing product launch campaigns, go-tomarket strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve customer acquisition, retention, and cross-sell strategies.


KPIs / Performance Indicators:


  • Timely delivery of new products and enhancements according to roadmap.
  • Growth in product usage, active users, and revenue contribution.
  • Customer satisfaction, NPS (Net Promoter Score), and retention improvements.
  • Reduction in complaints, downtime, or defects.
  • Compliance with regulatory and internal risk requirements.
  • Successful cross-functional coordination and training delivery.


Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 2-4 years' experience in product management, business analysis, or project management (fin tech/telecom preferred).
  • Knowledge of mobile money, digital payments, or financial services products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align product development with company goals.
  • Innovation: Creative approach to product design and problemsolving.
  • Analytical Ability: Comfortable with data analysis and translating insights into action.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for improving customer experience and usability.

Skills Required
