In this role, you’ll develop product positioning, value propositions, messaging, and customer-facing materials. Essential Job Functions

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing product positioning, differentiated value propositions, messaging, proof points, product facts, and FAQs for broker, employer, Sales, and member audiences.
  • Translating health plan and benefit information into clear, accurate, audience-specific language and materials. Partner with Marketing to ensure materials align with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborating with Sales to understand pipeline opportunities, recurring questions, customer objections, competitive pressure, and gaps in existing materials.  Use these insights to improve product messaging and sales support.
  • Developing and adapting product marketing and sales enablement materials that clearly communicate Texicare’s products and value, address common questions and objections, and support Sales throughout the customer decision-making process.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop open enrollment materials and presentations that help employers and members understand Texicare's products, benefits, and value.
  • Maintaining a library of approved product messaging, facts, proof points, comparisons, supporting evidence, and customer-facing materials that are factually accurate and ready to use.
  • Monitoring competitor offerings, market trends, broker and employer feedback, member insights, and available performance data. Recommend updates to positioning, messaging, and materials as market needs change.
  • Coordinating product-marketing readiness with internal stakeholders by tracking required inputs, reviews, approvals, dependencies, and delivery dates.
  • Supporting RFPs, proposals, partnerships, and other growth opportunities by validating product and benefit information, drafting product responses, and coordinating open questions and decisions.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • At least 2 years [JS1] of relevant experience in product marketing, sales enablement, healthcare marketing, product management, health plan product development, employee benefits, market research, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated an ability to develop product positioning and customer-facing materials, such as sales presentations, customized finalist presentations, product comparisons, or enrollment materials, and turn complex product information and market or Sales feedback into clear, audience-specific messaging.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or the health payer industry.
  • Working knowledge of health insurance, employee benefits, broker distribution, employer-sponsored coverage, or the health plan competitive landscape.
  • Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation-development skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • The ability to gather and interpret market feedback, competitive intelligence, qualitative insights, and performance data and turn them into practical recommendations.
  • Strong project-management, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables, reviewers, and changing priorities.
  • A proactive and collaborative working style, with the ability to identify needs, clarify objectives, move work through review and approval, and escalate material risks or decisions appropriately.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience developing customized finalist presentations, open enrollment materials, or health plan product training.
  • Experience working with regulated content and coordinating legal, compliance, or stakeholder review and approval.
