We're looking for a Product Marketing Specialist to own go-to-market, messaging and positioning for OpenDock, one of our fastest-growing SaaS products. You'll join a small, collaborative product marketing team at an exciting moment: we've recently launched a new AI offering, and you'll help shape how we tell that story across our products and bring it to life for customers.
You're results-driven, organized, and genuinely curious. You can take a complex feature and turn it into a clear, compelling story for the people who buy it, and you're just as comfortable asking questions as you are running with the answers. You'll become a true product expert and the go-to source for how we talk about what we build, working across Product, Customer Success, Sales, RevOps, Design and the broader Marketing team.
Job Type: Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
LOCATION: Chicago (Hybrid)
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
-Go-to-market: Plan and run GTM campaigns for new OpenDock feature releases alongside Product, Customer Success and Sales, and be the bridge between product, marketing and sales. Track the work and report on results to leadership each month.
-Consistency across channels: Keep our story consistent across our website, emails and external review sites such as G2 and Gartner, and edit one-pagers and other materials so everything says the same thing.
-Sales enablement: Create external and internal one-pagers, customizable materials for one-off customer situations, and product demos so that our sales teams and customers understand who a feature helps and why it matters.
-Customer proof: Run the OpenDock review program on platforms like G2 and Gartner by working with account managers to reach customers, and plan how to activate wins, and develop customer case studies from finding the right customer to telling their story with Design.
-Events: Support our growing event program, many of them Chicago-based, with messaging, content and planning, so the right people are in the room.
-Buyer insight: Conduct buyer interviews and market research to build robust buyer personas, and turn data into actionable insights that inform product, sales and marketing strategy.
-Partner across the business: Work with the Marketing team on emails and campaigns, RevOps on lead routing, and the content team on blogs and press releases.
