Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
The opportunity
Confluence is Atlassian's second-largest product after Jira, and a behemoth in the work management market. We help Fortune 500 companies collaborate, capture, and share the knowledge that makes their teams more effective and their organizations more aligned. As a cornerstone of Atlassian's new System of Work, Confluence is a trusted product that's now primed for even bigger growth in the enterprise!
As a Product Marketing Senior Associate, you will help us bring Confluence's unique value propositions to our ever-growing enterprise customer base. You will have the opportunity to work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders as we unlock new growth opportunities for this established product, attract new personas, and drive measurable impact.
With guidance from our team, you'll conduct research, build content that attracts senior-level buyers, and help to equip sales with competitive knowledge as well as the assets and tools to accelerate deal wins. This role is ideal for a scrappy, driven product marketer or someone who is interested in joining product marketing with several years of experience in narrative-crafting and strong content chops under their belt.
This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing parts of the Atlassian business as we become the system of work for ALL teams across the enterprise, so you must be undaunted by ambiguity and excited by big goals!

- Help us stay on top of competitor moves to uncover differentiators that feed into our messaging and sales assets
- Create content that creatively communicates the value of Confluence through videos, blogs, webinars, ads and more
- Support the development of compelling customer stories and sales plays for both IT buyers and non-technical department heads
- Contribute to the development of training materials to keep our sellers sharp on all the latest and greatest of Confluence and how to communicate its value
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in product marketing. We're also open to candidates with communications, sales, or other marketing-adjacent backgrounds who are excited to join the world of product marketing.
- Exceptional writer and communicator is a MUST. You must be able to tailor your message to an audience and succinctly translate technical language into customer value.
- Detail-oriented thinker with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and successfully.
- BONUS: Proactive problem solver with an ability to spot opportunities and identify risks.
Compensation
