SUMMARY

Allegro Microsystems (ALGM) is looking for New College Graduates interested in building a career in Technical Product Marketing at one of the fastest growing semiconductor companies. The ideal candidate has a combination of electrical or computer engineering and business administration educational background. Any experience with magnetic sensors or gate drivers is a plus. The incumbent would join our team in expanding our business to new markets and applications by developing and executing go-to-market strategies, driving business initiatives, developing partnerships, creating innovative marketing collaterals and solutions to support a broad base of customers.
 

Candidate should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, be highly motivated to drive actions and assignments to closure and drive the business in strategic automotive and industrial sub-segments. This role will interact with customers on a regular basis and candidate should have a passion for building relationship and develop collaborations with sales, channel partners and the various product and marketing groups within the company to expand and grow our revenues.
 

The candidate will go through a 12-month rotation period with different teams learning the different aspects of marketing and applications engineering before being deployed as a Product Marketing Engineer in one of the Business Units or Application Marketing teams.
 

WHAT YOU"LL DO

  • Create, update, and manage Industrial and automotive subsegment strategies worldwide

  • Support the Sales and channel teams with business development at strategic accounts as well as broad market customers

  • Interact with and provide guidance to product and technical teams to create differentiated products and solutions

  • Engage with lead customers to identify system-level and product-level requirements, formulate engagement strategies and drive deeper technical engagements

  • Focus on the no-touch customer journey to deliver superior customer experience

  • Execute on existing product growth initiatives by assessing and developing new markets/applications

  • Produce, track, and maintain annual plans based on research, market data and customer inputs

  • Create thought leadership content and drive brand awareness campaigns with digital marketing team to promote Allegro in the target markets

  • Assist with special projects, corporate events, tradeshows, webinar, etc.

  • Focus on execution and results with a high standard for performance

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

  • New College Graduates to 3 years experience in electronics or semiconductor industry

  • Fundamental awareness of best marketing, research, and business planning practices

  • Success with data and research driven market strategies

  • Knowledge of technology trends and disruptions in technology that impact our customers

  • Ability to present and speak in front of leadership and engineering audience alike

  • Ability to travel to visit customers in US, Europe and Asia

  • United States Citizen or Permanent Resident
