Job Scope

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing effective got to market orchestration that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for RecordPoint products.

The Product Marketing Manager will serve as the expert on our market, customers, personas, and capabilities of RecordPoint’s products and be the subject matter expert for our revenue-generating teams, arming them with insights on how to speak about the value and differentiation of our products.

This role requires strong writing, presentation, planning, and execution skills with an ability to work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts.

    Responsibilities
    • Positioning & Messaging Framework - Developing positioning and messaging that clearly communicates how RecordPoint products solve audience challenges.

    • Product Features & Benefits - Producing collateral that outlines RecordPoint product features in terms of real customer benefits and workflow improvements.

    • Stakeholder Management and Team Collaboration - Collaborating with the Product team, Engineering teams and customer-facing teams (Sales, Customer Success, and Support) to share insights and understand our customers' challenges better.

      • Competitive Analysis - Conducting competitive analysis to highlight differentiators and maintain comparison tools.

      • Audience Interviews - Interviewing customers and prospects to understand their complete workflows and pain points.

      • Audience Research & Persona Development - Building and maintaining detailed audience personas based on research and behavioral insights.

      • Product Launch Planning & Execution - Planning and executing product launches that address specific market needs and align with company goals.

      • Pricing & Packaging - Working with the Product team to define and refine pricing and packaging based on audience segments and value perception.

      • Sales Enablement Content - Creating sales enablement content that supports the buying process and highlights product fit.

        • Customer Marketing Strategy - Leading customer marketing efforts that turn satisfied users into brand advocates and storytellers.

Activities

    • Craft clear product messaging that connects customer challenges with how our products solve them.

    • Translate features into benefits that make sense in the context of real customer workflows.

    • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Customer teams to align on audience needs, product value, and messaging.

    • Create sales enablement materials like playbooks, pitch decks, and battle cards.

    • Plan and execute go-to-market campaigns for new product and feature launches.

    • Interview customers and conduct research to build detailed personas and understand workflows.

    • Track competitors and update comparisons to help position RecordPoint effectively.

    • Write and produce content such as product overviews, videos, and webinars.

    • Develop and refine pricing and packaging using customer and market insights.

    • Showcase customer success stories that demonstrate real value and drive engagement.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required

    • Direct product marketing experience with a track record of driving growth in technology companies.

    • Effectively collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders across the business, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Executive. Proven ability to influence these cross-functional teams without formal authority.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write and produce content for various channels; ability to effectively communicate your message through in-person and virtual presenting.

    • Ability to distil technical products and features to create compelling stories and messaging; experience creating sales narratives and training sales teams to sell and position products effectively.

    • Experience with customer and market research through various methodologies, such as surveys, desk research, and interviews.

    • Strong understanding of effective GTM strategies and solid basis of product marketing fundamentals.

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer insights to identify business opportunities.

    • Strong collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
