POSITION TITLE
Product Marketing Manager
POSITION LOCATION
Hybrid. Strong preference for individual to be in Richmond, VA or New York, NY. We will consider exceptional candidates outside of these regions.
Your Role
The Product Marketing Manager, Consumers will be a subject matter expert in the consumer segments that could benefit from CareScout’s products and services. You will identify, analyze, and action personas, use cases, needs, behaviors, and perceptions of people seeking long-term care and planning-related services – and have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to create a well-rounded strategy. You will become an expert in CareScout’s full product portfolio so that we can position those products in a clear and compelling way to consumers. You will be able to synthesize many inputs into an effective data-driven strategy to meet our company goals for consumer sales. You will also be an effective marketing strategist to act as a consultant to our business clients (insurance carriers, employers) who want to engage their consumer audiences (policyholders, employees) in using CareScout’s products.
A successful candidate for this role will be strategic, curious, analytical, and flexible. You will have deep knowledge of the direct-to-consumer buying journey and have experience creating value propositions, buyer personas, message maps, and new product launch plans. We are looking for a candidate with top-notch writing skills. You will be able to manage competing priorities and tight timelines as a trusted partner of the product, sales, strategy, and operations teams. This is an independent contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Marketing.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and execute go-to-market marketing plans for consumer audiences including goals, metrics for success, asset development, and integrated launch planning with cross functional partners
- Act as marketing SME for B2B2C clients to ensure their consumer audiences engage with and utilize the CareScout solutions available to them; you’ll be able to suggest multi-channel marketing strategies and tactics that meet the specific needs of clients
- Be a master storyteller and writer, with an ability to connect with consumers in an authentic and unique way that highlights the CareScout brand
- Be able to verbalize and visualize complicated concepts to create external presentations and materials
- Work closely with the content marketing and growth teams to translate strategies into effective external campaigns
- Work hand-in-hand with product managers to gain a deep understanding of products in order to create customer journeys that exceed expectations
- Act as a voice of the customer across the organization and lead research projects needed to gain these insights
- Work closely with the Strategy team, using competitive intel to inform plans
- Regularly set goals and measure KPIs, continuously monitoring and actioning metrics to adapt when there are successes or failures
- Work closely with the growing team to get the job done – whatever it is – with a can-do and collaborative approach.
What you bring:
- At least five years of experience in product marketing or similar marketing function
- Must have experience marketing products in a direct-to-consumer model
- Experience marketing products to end users in a B2B2C model required
- Ecommerce or marketplace sales model experience a plus
- Experience in aging care, financial services, insurance, or healthcare a plus
- Excellent writing skills (samples required)
- Demonstrated success as key player in GTM planning and execution
- Experience with CRMs, marketing automation, and other sales enablement tools a plus
- High level of organization and self-motivation
- Excellent presentation design skills (PowerPoint)
- Strong focus on customer service with a knack for creative thinking and problem solving
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience

For candidates based in the New York City Metropolitan area, the base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $104,400. up to the maximum of $175,000. An employee’s pay position within the base salary pay range will be based on several factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors to ensure pay equity within the organization.
