Summary Generated by Built In

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager that is radically focused on helping our internal teams, prospects, and customers build great engineering organizations. As a product marketer, you will play a critical role in understanding the market, audience, and use cases we serve, and translating that understanding across the business.

You’ll be part of the product marketing team and work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, sales, and engineering, to develop compelling go-to-market strategies. Your goal will be to effectively communicate the value and differentiation of our platform to our target audience to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.

Let’s talk about responsibilities:

  • Understand our market and customer: Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer jobs to be done, buying preferences, competitive landscape, and to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

  • Translate knowledge to messaging: Create compelling and differentiated narratives that communicate the value and perspective of Jellyfish to address challenges faced by our customers. You will develop a deep understanding of customer personas and pain points to inform messaging and positioning.

  • Influence marketing strategy: Collaborate with the Marketing team to permeate product messaging across customer-facing communication, develop and execute marketing campaigns and programs, and influence content strategy.

  • Strengthen product launches: Develop go-to-market strategies and plans to drive the adoption and success of Jellyfish’s products, infusing customer empathy and market knowledge along each touchpoint of the customer’s journey.

  • Effectively enable sales: Package customer problems, market knowledge, and solution benefits to develop and deliver high-impact sales enablement materials, including sales scripts, presentations, one sheets, battle cards, case studies, and more, in partnership with our enablement team.

Let’s talk about what you need to excel:

  • A proven ability to execute strategically with a focus on measurable outcomes, focusing on the impact of your work against key metrics in a fast-growing SaaS company

  • Ability to influence and build trust among all functions and levels of the organization

  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mentality and experience working on complex, ambiguous, and fast-moving projects across multiple teams

  • A strong sense of compelling storytelling that can turn complex product information into concrete value propositions that emotionally resonate with our audience

  • Excellent technical comprehension and market understanding

  • Relevant persona and product experience in the software engineering productivity, analytics, and intelligence space

A list of job experiences and qualification requirements is great, but humility, a performance-driven attitude, and a team-player approach are most important to us. We love to have fun and win in the process. We only hire people who have a passion for building great companies in an environment where a sense of humor is a must.

Occasional travel may be required.

Applicants must be authorized to work for Any employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Let’s talk about us!

This is all about you, but you want to know a little about us. Jellyfish was started in 2017 as a team of three with one big idea: engineering is the core of modern business, so let’s create and manage it that way! With the help of our customers, we have built the first Engineering Management Platform, providing visibility into engineering organizations, their work, and how they operate. We enable leaders to align engineering decisions with business initiatives and deliver the right software efficiently and on time.

We believe that it takes a diverse team to build the best company we can. Jellyfish welcomes people from all backgrounds and especially encourages applications from members of groups underrepresented in the software industry.

We are two hundred teammates strong and growing in an unpredictable economic environment. This is the perfect journey for the right people, and we’d love your help.
