The job details are as follows:
Who We Are
We are the first publicly-traded biotech or pharmaceutical company to take the form of a public benefit corporation. Our public benefit purpose is to provide a brighter future for patients through the development of novel pharmaceutical therapies; and technologies that expand the availability of transplantable organs.
United Therapeutics (Nasdaq: UTHR) seeks to travel down the corridors of indifference to develop treatments for rare, deadly diseases. We were founded in 1996 by a family seeking a cure for their daughter’s pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Today, we have six FDA-approved therapies that treat PAH, pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) and neuroblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Our near-term pipeline seeks to develop additional therapies for PAH and pulmonary fibrosis (PF).
The cure for end-stage life-threatening diseases like PAH, PH-ILD, PF, and many others is an organ transplant, but only a small percentage of donated organs are available to address the vast need. For this reason, we are working to create manufactured organs to address the shortage of kidneys, hearts, lungs, and livers available for transplant. We believe an unlimited supply of tolerable, transplantable organs will eliminate the transplant waiting list and cure end-stage organ diseases for which transplant is not currently an option.
Who you are
This is where tactical execution meets purpose. As a Product Manager at United Therapeutics, you’ll play a hands‑on role in bringing impactful HCP marketing programs to life—contributing to brand strategy, executing tactical plans, and collaborating with cross‑functional partners to serve patients with serious, rare diseases. You’ll manage marketing tactics end‑to‑end, develop strong agency and internal relationships, and turn insights into meaningful programs that reach healthcare professionals in the right way. It’s a role for someone who is eager to grow, thrives in a fast‑moving environment, and wants their work to contribute to something bigger than the brand itself. If you’re motivated by meaningful challenges and inspired by innovation with purpose, you’ll feel right at home here.
NOTE: UT is hiring two (2) distinct product marketing managers (HCP) for our new products and/or indications; one for the Ralinepag marketing team reporting to that brand lead and the other for the Tyvaso IPF marketing team reporting to the other brand lead.
The Product Manager communicates strategies and executes tactics to achieve the brand goals for commercialized products with little oversight and guidance.

- Manage selected HCP-facing tactics, to include visual aids, leave behinds, product website, email programs, and media; partner with the center of excellence for deployment and ongoing reporting of HCP tactics
- Assist in the determination and tracking of key performance indicators (KPI) for owned tactics and initiatives
- Manage individual project budgets and timelines and recommend increase/decrease in budgeted tactics
- Assist with market research initiatives to learn insights for the brand
- In partnership with brand lead, assist in managing promotional review board discussions (PRB) and negotiating solutions to gain exposure to the PRB process and best practices
- Engage in field sales communications and attend field ride-alongs in order to understand the audience and resource utilization
- Demonstrate command of disease state, product portfolio, competitors, and payer landscape
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure consistent alignment on all projects
