The Airline industry has engaged into a key business transformation adopting new retailing techniques. The aim is to simplify processes, reduce costs and improve customer empowerment to incorporate new revenue sources.
Amadeus Nevio is our brand-new generation of better, smarter, and more open airline technology and solutions. We are looking for a talented Product Marketing Manager, enthusiastic about the travel business to join our team and strengthen the capabilities on new Retailer and Supplier - commercial partnership models for the airline industry.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be part of the Airline Solutions Transversal team with the primary objective of helping airlines maximize their commercial performance and customer experience. Covering the entire traveler's journey, from dreaming and planning to buying, experiencing, and staying in touch, you will oversee market trends and customer needs providing key knowledge for the development of new retailing partnership opportunities.

In this role you will be responsible for:

 

Understanding the market and our customers

  • Describe market dynamics including industry trends, traveler trends, competitive landscape, regulations, and potential implication for portfolio strategy.

  • Perform market research through industry events, competitive watching and industry whitepapers reading.

  • Consolidate inputs and feedback from customers, industry, and regions to identify customer needs and opportunities.

Developing the product strategy

  • Define and develop the product and portfolio vision & value in line with other business areas.

  • Provide input for the strategic development of new airline and non-airline partnership opportunities, increasing the value of our product portfolio.

  • Work closely with the Product Management and Nevio Commercial teams to ensure consistency on the Retailer & Supplier vision and values in the new Nevio portfolio.

  • Design business models and pricing strategy, assessing market risks and viability in line with Nevio Business Model and pricing definition teams.

  • Plan Go-to-Market strategies in alignment with Commercial and sales Teams.

Produce, measure and scale

  • Create external-facing use cases, messaging, and value proposition consistent with the go-to-market strategy.

  • Follow-up with Marketing and Sales groups to ensure the portfolio benefits are well communicated externally based on customer profile.

  • Support the commercial, operational, and marketing teams in upskilling activities.

  • Write legal service description for contracts.

About our ideal candidate:

  • Ability to work in team, covering a broad portfolio scope and interfacing multiple stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Product Management, R&D etc.) 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).

  • Aptitude to understand other teams’ point of view and influence.

  • Capacity to analyze and interpret data to make business recommendations.

  • Team player that can nevertheless work autonomously to solve unique and complex problems.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, tenacity, and proven ability to drive results in a complex, multicultural environment and at different hierarchical levels.

  • Flexible and adaptable.

  • Knowledge about travel and IT industries.

  • Understanding about Agile, SAFe or Product Life Cycle methodologies is a plus.

  • Fluent in written and verbal English.

  • University degree in Business, Product Management, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • At least 5 years' experience in Portfolio Management, Strategy or Business Consultancy, preferably in B2B environment.

  • Travel Industry background is an asset.
