The Creation Platform is at the core of Amadeus Travel Unit growth strategy, by powering the next generation travel ecosystem: it connects partners, suppliers, customers, and travelers, with solutions, capabilities, intelligence and content ; these will combine to power the traveler centric journeys of tomorrow.

The Creation Platform mission is to enable innovation to accelerate, expand business value and increase process efficiency, by sharing capabilities transversally across Amadeus business versus purely ‘vertical ‘ product line approach.

We are looking for a talented Platform Marketing Manager able to assess trends and needs around the platform, navigate through multiple stakeholders, with deep interest in traveler centricity & platform ecosystem capabilities, and enthusiastic about the Amadeus growth strategy of opening up our systems.

 

Purpose

The Creation platform is an internal enabler and as a Product Marketing Manager your target audience will be the entire Amadeus community

You will focus on assessing / explaining and promoting the capabilities of the platform contributing to 2 value streams :

1.Extend & Customize in Autonomy  

2.Support ecosystem growth

 

  • Assess the market’s dynamics including industry trends, travelers trends and competitive landscape, to influence the Creation Platform roadmap

  • Understand our internal customers’ business needs and issues, and assess how the creation Platform could impact their activity

  • Develop the platform’s value proposition, addressing the internal community needs

  • Provide description and content for capabilities and value streams enabling the internal Go To Market, for the PM/PMM/ R&D community to easily build solutions using the Creation Platform capabilities)

  • Contribute to the overall platform marketing strategy by supporting PMM in the positioning , messaging and commercialization of their solutions when leveraging Creation platform capabilities exposed to customers

  • Demonstrate how the Creation Platform capabilities enriches the Amadeus portfolio value for external customers and its contribution to Amadeus profitability

  • Support with Creation platform content PMM in their own materials or events and ensure consistent messages are conveyed

About the ideal candidate

  • Experience of managing go-to-market strategies, competitive analysis, marketing toolkit development and communication

  •  Be at ease with uncertainty, ability to adapt to a new and evolving context and strategy

  • Collaborative mindset, strong communication and analytical skills

  • Driver, results-oriented, energetic

  • Platform mindset: ability to move from standard product marketing management and apply the necessary abstraction to manage platform capabilities, which serve in turn, consumers to build or enrich products.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced technology-driven environment

  • Ability to quickly establish strong relationships and credibility

  • Technical background

  • Experience in Services is an additional asset
